We’re Going Green: Big Investments for a Bright Future
2024 was a landmark year for us at Alliance Door Engineering! Thanks to our ongoing growth and commitment to innovation, customer service, and sustainability, we’ve made some major investments to better serve you and the environment.
Based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, we’re celebrating our eighth consecutive year of growth, which has been driven by strong demand for our industrial doors and shutters. To keep up with this rising demand, we’ve expanded our operations in a big way. Our existing 17,000 sq. ft. facility now has an additional 9,000 sq. ft. of space!
This expansion isn’t just about more room—it’s about delivering more for our customers. The extra space allows us to enhance efficiency with new machinery, explore exciting additions to our high-speed door range, and take on new projects. Plus, it’s creating new job opportunities, contributing to both our growth and the local economy.
We’re also making big strides in sustainability. In June, we installed solar panels at our facility, and the results are already making an impact. By mid-October, we’ve reduced our carbon emissions by over 15.8 tonnes—that’s the equivalent of planting 261 trees! Not only does this investment help the planet, but it also cuts our energy costs, making us more efficient all around.
As we mark 23 years of trading, we’re proud to offer a comprehensive range of industrial doors and shutters, including fire-rated roller shutters, folding doors, rapid roll doors, insulated shutters, and traditional single-skin roller shutters.
This is just the beginning. We’re excited about what’s ahead and remain dedicated to providing top-quality products while reducing our environmental footprint.
